Face Authentication and ABHA ID Generation in Nikshay is used to securely verify a patient's identity through Aadhaar-based Face Authentication and generate/link the patient's ABHA ID. The process helps ensure that the correct patient is identified and verified before accessing eligible services and DBT benefits. Key Points: * Verify the patient's details before starting the authentication process. * Complete Aadhaar Face Authentication for the correct patient. * The patient's Aadhaar details are verified through the authentication process. * Once successfully authenticated, the patient's ABHA ID can be generated/linked in Nikshay. * Ensure that Face Authentication is performed only for the correct patient ID. * Once Face Authentication is completed against a patient ID, the authentication details cannot be changed or deleted. * Stable internet connectivity is recommended during the authentication and ABHA generation process. * Successful Face Authentication is also required for DBT benefit processing, as per the applicable CTD guidelines.
